About 'Cut Corners'

A Life Steeped in Sound

Hailing from Southampton, 'Cut Corners' is a solo DIY project from Artist Jimmy Shivers (Previous member of 'Thomas Tantrum' and 'Spectral Park'). Inspired by the sounds of shoegaze, dreampop, grunge and noise rock heard from classic artist such as 'My Bloody Valentine', 'Slowdive' and 'Pavement', through to upcoming artists such as 'Julia Shirpiro' and 'Bdrmm'. 'Cut corners' provides a noisy and hazy journey, expressed through a series of boutique analog guitar pedals. Soaked in delay, bathed in reverb, backboned by scuzzy drum machine beats.
